Top End Rebuild Kit

My TZR has done 45000km, 10000km of which I have put on it since I owned it.

The guy I bought it from never touched the motor and I have no history of the pistons and rings ever being changed.

Is there anywhere that sells a complete top end kit. So, pistons, rings, head and base gaskets and little end bearings? I would need just a standard size piston.

No full top end kits available from Yamaha. Pistons and rings are discontinued oem. Only available i know of is through tkrj.co.jp

Cast oem aftermarket reproduction very nice quality. I bought a set from them last year.

Get one of thier piston kits includes two of everything. Pistons rings wrist pin and upper end bearing circlips

Gaskets get oem from Yamaha
If you need a Japanese source to buy oem parts from. I highly recommend webike japan.

Btw general rule on these 250's greatly depending on how its ridden.

Top ends replace at 10k miles
Crankshaft replace at 20k miles

I still have some of the Wossner piston kits for the R/RS motors.  They come with piston, rings, wrist pin, and wrist pin clips.  You'd need to sort out wrist pin bearings.  I think I also have some OEM head gaskets too.  I don't need them as I've had my barresl oringed.  Not sure I have any base gaskets.
