Hi everyone,

just a quick introduction first: I recently bought a Yamaha TZR250 3MA as a project bike and joined this forum because I am trying to sort out a few typical 3MA issues. I am from Germany and still learning my way around this model, so any advice from people with more 3MA experience would be very helpful.

At the moment I have a problem with the oil pump / oil injection system.

One of the small check valve / outlet fittings directly on my oil pump appears to be damaged. It looks like someone removed or broke the small outlet/check valve in the past and soldered the hose nipple back on. Unfortunately, it still seems to leak or slowly drip oil when the engine is not running.

I would like to keep the original oil injection system if possible and avoid converting the bike to premix.

So I wanted to ask:

Does anyone here possibly have one of these small oil pump check valves / outlet fittings available?

Or does anyone have a complete working 3MA oil pump for sale at a reasonable price?

Alternatively, has anyone found a reliable way to repair or replace a leaking oil pump check valve on a 3MA oil pump?

I have seen discussions about fitting an additional inline check valve into the oil line after the pump, but I am not sure which type would be suitable and whether it could affect the oil flow from the pump. I would be very interested to hear if someone has done this successfully on a 3MA or a similar Yamaha two-stroke oil injection system.

Any advice, part numbers, photos, or possible replacement options would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance!
Best regards,
Hagen

Many Yamaha parts are same same - find at defect oil pump from TZR 125 4FL and use the part you need for repair - or find the forum member in GB that repair pumps  ;) or... ask me what are the price  :D

looks the same as the 3xv oil pump.i would say any oil pump spigot that size would do. i think it is just pressed in.
