The mismatch is planned, deliberate and calculated. Grind it and loose some HP.

3XV10 are early SP cyls. That's why they don't match up with the exhausts. They use a thin adapter flange piece between the cyl and the pipe flange itself to take the D shape cyl exit to a round shape where it meets the pipe. Sounds like you are missing the adapters?

If you post up some pics of the flange end of the pipe I can tell you if you have R or SP model pipes. Both types are rubbish really, but the SP pipes will at least work a bit better with the SP cyls once you've sourced some flange adapters... Probably easier to track down some race pipes with flanges compatible to the SP cyls instead?

Still Smoking...

Looks like you've got a bit of a mongrel like many of us have (myself included).  SP cyclinders and heads on a wet clutch R motor.  Forks and swingarm appear to be standard R, as are mine... ???
If your not mixing gas, your not hauling ass!

Sorry Teezer, it's a side view of the first 6 inches or so of the pipe header I'd need a pic of to Id which model pipes they are. Should have been clearer...
