i cant go easter or summer holidays
but can make my life work around just about everything else
thanks for taking the initiative phil.

there are loads of b&b's in Rhayader, we could even book the Horseshoe out, he allows private parties to. But we would have to act fast-ish as the cyclists book him up in summer

lets make 2016 the year of the 2 stroke!!!!

TZ250 4DP2

Being a member of the flat earth society I believe if I drive further south than the Midlands I will fall off the edge of the earth......

Living in Devon, I can assure you that below the edge of the earth is actually quite nice..

Oulton Park? Donnington park? all good for me, Early July would be good,

Always liked both tracks but Donny gets a bit woo hoo in the wet being next to an airport!!!

I'd be keen to join in the fun. All being well the 3xv ans 3ma will both be in action. Donnington would be cool to do as I've never been there

I'm interested. I'll have the 3XV back on the road by then, honest. (I've completed the exhaust header/adapters at last...)

I'd be up for most of this probably. Cadwell, looks a great track but real narrow and a tw*t to get to. Could coincide with the 2t classic sports bike weekend though, titfulls of 2ts there.
Want to go on track next year anyway so more happy with Oulton, Anglesey or Donny.
The Rhayader thing is easily doable (with a reliable bike), we did it this year but a night over in Band B would be good.
Cheers Scotty

It sounds like

1 - Donnington for a loud track day. We could get a local b&b for beer and pizza afterwards. Good news is loud days are 108db. It helsp there is a friggin airport next door which is even more noisy than the bikes :-) Down side is if it's wet it's like an ice rink

2 - Rhayader meet for a ride out, canvas sleeping thing or a proper b&b for more beer and pies/pizza/betty's hotpot or whatever. Steve buy some proper waterproofs for this year

Paul as you are the one with too many trips abroad, I suggest you give me an idea of dates you can't make and we go from there.

I suggest Donnington, novice group then we avoid the idiot inters, with a group booking I think we can get a discount with nolimits, midweek around April time as Easter Sunday is March 27th

Rhayader something around the same time of year as the 2015 event

Maybe a third trip out to Anglesey late Summer. If Martin77 can get there from beyond the end of the earth ,then no excuses for anyone else :-) Rhosniegr is 10 mins away so again maybe a b&b but certainly plenty of fields with sheep and other wildlife should you wish to sleep on grass !!!!

Cheers

If we are serious I could approach one of the track day organizers8 and see if we can't secure the entire group. So we could full 30 or 40 places those we can't fill with yam's we could offer out to rgv owners and kr1s. My mate is on the 500 forum and last resort the honda boys.... I think I may have funds to secure the group but let's get some idea of dates and numbers first...

I think you are being a bit ambitious there.  Me and Paul did a couple of track days last year and only Steve came along (on an Aprilia). The Rhayader meet had 6 or 8, mainly people that lived in Wales and not all on TZR's
If we get 10 to Donnington and another 10 to Rhayader I'd be happy :-)

Maybe.... But Next Year is 25 years of the 3yl, And I know at least one owner who is trying to get 25 bikes to Donny for a bash.... with no date set as yet so maybe combine the 2, also the TDR boys are always up for it they always show up and make the day interesting, and then there is all the other social media which can get things going, Last time Sam Palmer did this sort of thing it was bloody good, We could involve a mag or two, But the key here is the Date and we can take it from there, Im sure if we pick a couple of dates in July, and then contact an organizer we could get it rolling, But I know what you mean, me included the idea sometimes is better than the reality and some folk although they want to go just cant.....

Eary Jan is when most dates are set.....

What about just getting everyone to go to the classicbiketrackdays.com meets?  I usually do the Cadwell one and it is packed with loads of two strokes :-)
