As last year I intend getting out and about. Here's the (revised) plan so far

28th Feb - Anglesey/ No Limits 105db
22nd Mar or 31st Mar - Outon Park; MSV/No Limits 98db
30th Apr - Rhayader; Road meeting
16th Jun - Donington Park; TZR event of the year 108db
9th July - Cadwell Park; Classicbike trackday 105db

RAF Shawbury rider days will also fit in there somewhere; no noise restriction
If RAF Valley manage to get in a rider day I'll pop over there as well. All the money from RAF days goes to RAF charities :-)

Two new bikes to try out this weekend

Anglesey came up trumps with the weather, as di the 2 new bikes. As I haven't ridden either of them before the track day I was pretty pleased how they went. Me being very rusty and not wanting to bin either bike I took it very easy on tyres I hadn't ridden before. Dunlop SportMax on the RGV500 and Maxis Supermaxx on the RG400. All in all a great day out for £65

Here's a vid (enjoy the noise as the camera spins round after a while) of the RGV500 being given some tuition by the NoLimits guy. False neutrals and dropping out of 2nd. How very RG

Noise limit is 105db, and you get time for an afternoon nap....
I think I'd have more fun riding round my local roads

I thought the 3XV was running quite well in the morning, but I got my mojo on the Aprilia in a deserted 7th session and went 5 seconds a lap faster, timed using the Pirelli Diablo superbiker phone app. And no I don't use tyre warmers

Cadwell July 9th (not sure it's classic track days, I think they call it Novice Plus !!!)

Shawbury riders weekend is confirmed as August 13th and 14th, the first day of the PL season

I will probably do the Saturday. No noise limit :-)

£65 per day. It's the same format as RAF Valley. No noise limit on a track designed out of runway and taxi ways. It's good fun

You need to register all people and vehicles on the form, van and bike as it's an active air base

I went last year, it's fast and bumpy. Great place to get your suspension set up properly
