Phil's Track Day Calendar for 2017

First few dates planned for next year. As always going in the Novice group on the 250's

Oulton Park 22nd Feb
Anglesey (Int) 4th March
Donington Park 3rd April

Definite's once dates announced
Cadwel Park Classic Bike /Practical Sports bike
Coolest track day 2017, Could be Cadwell or Donington depending on what we organise

Maybe's for later in the year
RAF Valley rider day (if it's on)
RAF Shawbury rider day (if it's on)
Snetterton although it's a long way for me it's a great track for an airfield
Might try Croft but it's a bit of a trek
There is another airfield called Blyton Park in South Yorkshire

I doubt I'll bother with Rockingham or Brands

Plus what ever road bike or MCN organised track events that take my fancy.

MSV and No imits are the main organisers although Track Days also list bike events

Phil, could be up for trying Donington again after last years wash out.
£109 sounds reasonable, not sure how load 98dbA drive by is though, bikes pretty noisy.
Could even watch BSB on the Sun and sleep over. Take ear plugs though as the planes are annoying.

The Aprilia with Arrows and TZR (with Martin77 pipes/tyga cans) make 96DB The NSR on std pipes is about 94DB. Not had the RG with Jim Lomas pipes tested but I suspect that would struggle with the 98 limit

In terms of noise test 3xv's aren't too bad owing to the powervalve arrangement. Really quietens them down when they are part closed.

Noise test is no problem with my easi-fix. Pack the tail piece on the silencer can with scotch brite and hold it in place with a split pin (drill a smal hole right thru the tail piece). Takes 2 mins to install and 2 secs to remove

Sat 4th March there's an MSV trackday at Cadwell, I'm probably going to take the TZR for its first proper track test and see how I get on with it.

June or July will hopefully see a trip to Snetterton and August to RAF Shawbury Rider day

You might be right 102 drive by where as usually it's 102 static and 98 drive by. I think it's a misprint and it's really 102 static
