Well we just about missed storm Doris. Static was 102DB but the kid on the noise check had never done a 2 Stroke and said 8,500rpm. NO Chance says I 7,000rpm. Passed no problem. Unfortunately one of the guys didn't argue and was tested at 8,500rpm and hit 103DB. BONKERS

Anyway here is the RGV playing in the rain on the Avon race only rain tyres (I'd recommend them). The 3XV didn't get to play as it only had dry weather tyres fitted

Lovely weather on Anglesey this weekend. You should make the effort even if it's only once. July 21st is Coastal circuit using the cork screw. It makes all the difference as the stupid international hairpin is a nuisance on a little bike

If you do track days, and you have a 250, then take it to Silverstone GP circuit. It's an absolute hoot. Here's my Aprilia

Phil, Looks like a huge quick track, didn't blow it up then.
Do fancy it did you go up on gearing for it?

I use 44T on the back at Cadwell. Went to 41T at Silverstone and it was pretty much spot on. 1T up on the front would have done it but so much easier to change the back

Focused Events are doing June 5th. I might go again. It's a 300 mile round trip and a 20 hour day, plus good chance you lose the next day being knackered. I'll be too old soon......

how do the costs compare ?

Oulton Donington GP Brands GP and Silverstone GP are the most expensive £170, Cadwell Snet and Anglesey a bit cheaper, Croft Mallory Brands Indie cheaper still just over £100. These are high season prices. Before May or after Sept is always cheaper

This is half the pit complex at Silverstone. This is the "National" pit lane not the "GP" pit lane. Goodness knows what that's like
