Does anyone know where to buy the air jets for the VAJ system, Even ebay will do, I cant find anything. thanks

In terms of the mechanical part, not much has happened. I think I have just about tried every set-up there is with those pipes and a fixed air jet, so I am now trying with the VAJ connected. Its my only hope, or I will have to look out for some standard pipes, which will make life a lot easier :).

Cosmetics are getting along, almost ready to spray. It takes for ever to do the fairings though, that's the main pain in the arse out of everything :).

For some reason ebay search results come up with nothing when I type in mikuni airjet. very wierd.

Aha, she is still ritch at the bottom. :)

Don't know if you know witch needles and needle jets you have mounted.
But if you can get your hands on Q4 needle jets from a 3ma3 carb that helps you getting it leaner at low revs.

If you go the VAJ system route, figure out witch solenoid is opening at high revs and leaf that one out.
(from memory) the one that is clicking when you play with the throttle (only ignition one) is the one that opens at high revs.

So example:
Middle row 1,6 airjet
Solenoid controlled airjet a 1,3
other solenoid out off function.

You dont want a solenoid opening a big airjet at high revs (speciually not when using performance exhaust)

I have Q4 needle jets in the carbs at the moment. I got the bike to a point where it was almost right at lower revs but I was just a bit scared about it being too lean at higher revs at lower throttle, so I am trying the VAJ now. that setup was sounding very lean, it was:

Q4 needle jets
needles in lowest position
130 air jets
320 mains
15 pilots
modified air box for maximum air flow.

and to think it still wasn't quite perfect is very weird especially with a setup as lean as that.

I lost the table with the rev/throttle guide as to what air jets open. If you wouldn't mind please post the pic again and this time I will save it. thanks

Iff you ask me, your setup is not that lean.
But its dificult to say it of course, me sitting here you have the world away ;D

Watch the top solenoid at (1/2 to full) from about 10.000rpm it goes open :(

Its almost the same like a tz racer that shuts off the powerjet at high revs. ;D
