^^ that RS, saw that as well, or rather the polished up version of it, don't think that was a good buy!

As it was from the pile of crap and is basically a polished turd. I would say the whole thing is a bad move for half the price. The bike will either be sold to someone who is a sucker or the bike will have to be sold off cheap. Who ever has it will have an expensive engine rebuild and have to sort out all the stuff the Japanese seller ignored.

Love the look of this.. Titanium exhaust, Magnesium wheels, Brembo rear brake, TZ Nissin's on the front, Titanium nuts and bolts plus a few other really nice bits... best thing is this would probably be a private sell as he has all the standard parts with the bike too.... Win Win.. Not cheap but a really nice bike...

Wow - there can't be many of those left! Too bad about the earthquake damage, but its nothing that can't be fixed...or ignored. I remember a 1KT model (effectively unridden and in similar condition) selling for somewhere between 700000 and 800000 Yen last year. To me, the starting price of this one (1670000 Yen) seems at the top end of reasonable, but I suppose it depends how much one wants it (where would one find another, or how much would it cost to buy a well-used one and restore it?). Personally, I'd rather buy a used one and ride it occasionally, as I'd be too afraid of riding a NOS one - the value goes down somewhat and the chances of crashing it go up .

Eight hours left and no bids, but that could easily change with ten minutes to go!

Factor in a new crank, re-plate and piston kit along with a respray and a new tank !!!! and you have a fantastic 40hp restricted 250 for about £11k. Rare though
