Only 3 hours left, location near Dover, Hythe , a Swiss. 4hx all original. Clock in km/h . Year 1996 in discription. 11.379 miles a real good example! Just noticed it's missing the tzr decals on fairing :-\ but still a great example

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-TZR-250-2-STROKE-SPORTS-CLASSIC/264226599802?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3      R.S.P at fastline 11 grand, clean and tidy although loads of non original paint, tank completely re-sprayed, side decals replaced, tail piece resprayed.

Yep, the B is arguably the most desirable SP and is probably the be most rare but that is a heavy price, especially for a bike that's been completely resprayed. Good sprayjob but a few things are wrong says the trainspotter. ;) ;D

bulldogboy

fastline always push the pricing boundaries, but they seem to sell them, 11 grand though! :o

chubba

3ma v piece on eBay both black and white, not OE so will be a gamble on fitting

SPR bits fetch a silly premium  ?:-| a loom sold for 49000yen...

bulldogboy

Christ, £1045 by my calculations, wouldnt want to build an spr from parts :P

SeaR1ck

Just depends on who's bidding i got a spr wiring harness for much less then that like a year ago.

Just a sign that what we're doing to keep these bikes alive has value beyond our own joy.

As I tell myself, while borrowing from Mister Potter to finish my project.
Brief, fleeting Glory. Which of itself cannot last, but while it does is the best game of all.

YBK. Re your sticky 12 months ago...

Pretty much, cost of ownership is soaring. Spr parts tend to command an extra premium. A tank alone will be an arm and both legs, thats if you can find one.

Think the spare tank I have used to be on an Spr,(included in a jaded spares bundle) hard to tell really as a numpty thought it was a good idea to spray it white with a rattle can and I only just noticed the decals on the tank that have all been sprayed over  :o

I bought an spr nose cone off ebay fir £150, because uts 99% the same as my r.s if you take the spr sticker off ( which i havnt) just saw one on yahoo auctons go for, it was either £560, or £580 , so i reckon £150 was a good buy!

bulldogboy

Mental, best part of £600 for a nose cone

ybk

..worst is a spr loom doesn't even have anything special about it. Things like mint nosecones I can start to understand but a loom ?:-| I can only imagine it went to an international bidder. Seller's market  :(
