Testing the water to see if anybody wants to buy my TZR350 , the previous owner says the motor was newly rebuilt , it does need a bit of work to put it all back together ie fairing putting back on brakes bleeding etc, has v5 with 350 on log book, was on the road T&T last year, .£1000 no offers .

I would be interested as I have seen one of these with a 421 kit on it . It sounds like something I would like .
The only problem at the moment is that I am not sure about the paper work side of things to get it to Australia

if it was broken into several boxes you wouldn't have a problem.

look at the Dotars web site for guidance. The last bikes I bought were race bikes which were easy enough.

From memory road bikes need an import certificate before you can blue sliip & register them. Bikes after a certain cut off date (1987??) are not worth it unless you have owned and used them continuously for 12 months prior to bringing them in. Evidence required.
As it does not have the original engine it could be a problem................unless of course you intend racing it in period 6

The easiest way to get them in Neal is to get someone else to sort it for you. That way it only takes a few weeks and you can get later model bikes in because after 88 its a nightmare but it can be done.

The bike is garaged in Pontefract west yorks, if it hasn't gone by the weekend I will put the bike all together and get it all working, shouldn't take long but price may go up and end up on eBay.

The price sounds a bit rich too Neal and I'm not sure where he got 2012 bits from

Think he means that 2012 internals are in the forks. Everyone in WA seem to think a bike that came with a 18in rear is OK to swap to 17in and remain period legal
