(-P) I've seen a few people some years back, break into the 70's. Hoping I can do it with pump gas, but have the switch to bump up timing and use 112 race gas (plus slighting bigger jets) to break through...just to be finally satisfied with one of my bikes.
Will be taking my TS/TM400 along to get a couple dyno runs, just to see where that is at also.

I think the guys hitting 70 hp where track setups. Running single ring pistons and upped compression and advanced timing on race gas and top ends didn't last very long. Crank life also shortened.

I don't recall if porting was changed as well.
A good street setup on our crappy u.s. pump gas would be 60hp rear wheel and it still be reliable for street.

Fair point, does the suzuki crank handle that hp?

It's a track only challenge version, won't be on the street.
Standard pistons, standard ignition, Jolly's, billet valves, pump gas, and two piece heads for the 68hp. Hoping the new ignition and powervalve timing will help bump it to 70+.
As far as I know the cranks hold up without twisting, but bearing life I'm sure takes a bit more abuse...

But I'm an old guy planning on a few track days, so it should survive for quite a while.
