Hi guys, I'm looking for any help/info on fitting a 3ma front wheel into 2ma forks. I can see material will have to be removed from both sides of the wheel hub. Currently I have a 2.75 brembo wheel fitted but want to fit a blue spot caliper, the fat spokes on the brembo will not allow this. It looks like the disc mount will have to be reduced too. Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

Are you looking to use the bike on the track or is it for road?
Easy way is the F44 yam front Bolts straight in.(2.75)
F49 yam 3" is a little harder. The hub is 10mm wider ( compared to the F44)so either requires a flat disc or 5mm removing from disc face on wheel. If it's for the track you just need the spacers to suit but if for the road then fork leg material needs to be removed

Cheers AB, the bike is a track bike. I have already removed the speedo drive locator from the left fork leg to accomodate. By removing 5mm from the disc mount or fitting a flat disc, will a blue spot caliper fit in ? If not I could be wasting my time. Do you have dims for the spacers ? Also wondering if 3" front will be a miss match for the 3.5" rear ? F44 wheel would work as you say but they like rocking horse droppings.
Cheers

Dim's.....yes but I'll have to look them out
Yes it works with blue spot
The english tzr comes with the 3" / 3.5" combo anyway....steering is slightly slower but you have increased grip esp once the trail is set up
Rocking horse poo...errrr dunno...one on evil bay at present for 50 english pounds

Thanks again AB, tho i couldn't spot that wheel on ebay ? I tried to measure for the spacers yesterday,  trickier than thought. Need some proper measuring equipment, eyes n tape measure just not good enough :-)
