1KT/2MA petrol cap seal

Hi guys/gals
I'm looking to replace the rubber seal in the petrol cap as the original has gone hard and not sealing, would like to keep the original and just replace the seal, any of you knowledgeable lot know where I can source one?

I can't tell you where to get the seal by itself Ricky, but the same basic cap assembly was used on many Yamahas of the same era. Thus, you may be able to find a secondhand assembly with a good seal (which may be cheap if the outer metal parts are scratched or corroded or if the lock barrel is damaged).
There are also aftermarket cap assemblies available - the seal may be the same.

Not sure all aftermarket ones come with seals. I got a new cap but had to use my existing seal. As said above though they were used on a ton of different bikes. My 2ma, tdr and 3ma all have the same type.
