I thought the 2RH ran from 1987 to I think 1989 which might have been the 3PC from then on?

The main difference between the two was the rear brake. The earlier 2RH model was a drum brake, the later model got a disc brake.

Also the power figure quoted will be the unrestricted power and that will only be with a YPVS unit attached. For the UK the bike would have been supplied as 12hp to meet the learner laws. The Power Valve would be fixed in place, though off the top of my head I can't remember its rotation. The simple derestrict was to rotate the valve fully open where you would gain top end power but lose a little in the mid to low range. I think that was 22hp in that position.
